• Extending the initiative to provide all services related to road transport activities

    Greetings,

    Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received a letter from the Council of Saudi Chambers No. For transportation at the request of the Council's National Logistics Committee to extend the initiative to provide all services related to land transport activities without linking their provision to the payment of financial fines, and the initiative to exempt from the requirement of linking to the authority’s platform (WASLl), installing tracking devices and measuring weights for trucks operating in the activity of transporting goods, for a period of two months until the date (27/9/2020).
         Therefore, the Council would like to inform you of the authority’s kindly approval of the National Logistics Committee’s request to extend the above-mentioned initiative for an additional month to enable investors to benefit from it until the date (4/15/1442) corresponding to (11/30/2020).

    Greetings,

    Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received a letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42500043) dated (1/5/1442), in which it is referred to the letter of His Excellency the President of the Public Transport Authority No. (5981/41/1) and dated (22/12/1441 ), And attached to the letter No. (LW / L / 2157) dated (2/12/1441), which includes thanks to the Authority for its keenness to support the road transport sector and the facilities operating in it in order to reduce the burdens and effects of the Coronavirus crisis and adopt a number of initiatives, Including "granting a three-month deadline from the date of the curfew on (3/23/2020) to provide all services related to land transport activities without committing to pay the financial fines" to enable investors to benefit from it.​

    Therefore, the Council informs you of the approval of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Transport Authority to extend the initiative to provide all services related to road transport activities without linking their provision to the payment of financial fines, and the initiative to exempt from the requirement of linking to the authority’s platform (Wasel), installing tracking devices and measuring weights for trucks operating in the activity Cargo transportation, for a period of two months, until the date (27/9/2020).​​
